Our Vision

We focus on urban upliftment, education, and women’s self-reliance through dedicated programs.

We envision a community where there is -

  • Dignity for ALL

  • Access to quality education

  • Financially independent and socially empowered Women

  • Community connected through compassion and accountability

Our Mission

As founders, Vishal and I have pledged a personal monetary contribution to kick-start this journey.

It’s our way of putting our faith into action — a small seed that we hope will grow into a tree of shared responsibility.

But this mission cannot — and should not — be walked alone. While we have been fortunate to receive contribution from close friends and family, to create true impact, we invite you to walk with us.

PadamKanta Foundation is a living promise — to carry forward the legacy of women who turned adversity into opportunity, and to extend that legacy to those who keep our city alive each day.

Our Promise

Our Inspiration: The Legacy of Strength

This initiative is deeply personal. It is built on the lived strength of two extraordinary women who shaped our family — Padma Baa and our mother.

Padma Baa: A Woman of Grace and Grit

Widowed young, with two small children and another on the way, she could have let circumstances define her. Instead, she defined her circumstances.
She became a teacher. She offered tuitions. She built a life around dignity and purpose, ensuring her children were educated and self-reliant.

Her strength was quiet but unwavering — a reminder that true empowerment begins with self-belief.

Our Mother: Courage Reimagined

Years later, when we lost our father at the age of 40, history repeated itself. Once again, a woman stood tall against life’s storms. Our mother learned accountancy and computers, took up a job and became the man of our house to nurture us with steadfast determination.

Her journey mirrored Baa’s — resilience, dignity, and courage fortified by community.

These women are the spirit of PadamKanta Foundation. Their lives remind us that charity begins at home — but must never end there

A Note from the Founder-Directors

“This foundation is not just an organization; it is an emotion — born out of gratitude for the people who make our lives possible every single day.

It is a reflection of the lessons we inherited from the strong women in our family — that dignity, education, and self-reliance can transform not just one life, but generations.

Mumbai has given us everything. It’s time we give back — not as charity, but as responsibility.

We invite you to join us in this journey — to help build a city where opportunity is not a privilege, but a right.”
